1. What we collect

Account data. Name, email, phone, company name, password (we store it in a protected, hashed form) and your sign-in history.

Order data. Billing and shipping addresses, items bought, amounts, tax details you give us (such as a company tax ID, which is optional in the US), PO number and order notes, delivery and tracking records.

Payment data. Stripe collects your card details directly. We receive only a payment confirmation, the card brand and the last four digits. We never store full card numbers.

Logo upload. The image file you upload for your L4 watches.

Support data. Messages, calls, warranty claims and the photos or videos you send us.

Device and usage data. IP address, browser type, pages viewed and similar data from cookies, as described in our Cookie Policy. Analytics and marketing cookies run only with your consent.

2. Why we use it

• To create and run your account.
• To take payment, ship your order and send order and tracking emails.
• To load your logo onto your watches.
• To handle support, warranty claims and swaps.
• To prevent fraud and keep the Store secure.
• To meet tax, accounting and other legal duties.
• To send marketing emails, only if you opt in. You can opt out at any time with the link in each email.
• To measure and improve the Store, with your consent where required.

3. Who processes it for us

We share data with service providers that act on our behalf and only for the purposes above:

• Payments: Stripe.
• Email: {email_provider} for order and account emails, and {marketing_email_provider} for marketing emails you opted into.
• Hosting: {hosting_provider}.
• Analytics and advertising, with consent: {analytics_providers}.
• Shipping: {carrier}, which receives your name, address and phone to deliver your order.

4. Sale or sharing of personal data

We do not sell your personal data for money. Some advertising cookies may count as "selling" or "sharing" under certain US state laws. You can opt out:

5. Your choices and rights

From your account you can:

• Export your data. Request a copy of your personal data.
• Delete your account. Request deletion of your account and personal data.

You can also email contact@destecsolutions.com. Depending on your state, you may also have the right to access, correct or limit the use of your data, and to appeal our decision. We verify your identity before acting on a request and reply within the time the law requires. We do not treat you differently for using these rights.

Some data we must keep even after a deletion request, such as order, tax and accounting records required by law, and records we need for open warranty claims.

Files we delete, including the photos and videos you sent with warranty claims, are permanently removed from our storage within 7 days.

When you delete your account, we also keep a one-way (hashed) copy of your email address and, if you gave one, your tax ID. We cannot turn it back into the original. We use it only to stop first-order and coupon offers from being claimed again with the same details (fraud prevention), never for marketing. 6. How long we keep data

We keep account data while your account is open. We keep order and tax records for as long as the law requires. [confirm with accounting: retention periods]

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, such as encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure.

8. Children

The Store is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. We post the effective date at the top and tell account holders about material changes by email.
