How to extend range with a repeater

A repeater can help when calls do not reliably reach the watch from part of your venue. Walls, metal and the layout affect radio reception; a distance estimate is not a coverage guarantee.

Test before buying

1. Pair a button and take it to the farthest table.
2. Have a colleague wear the watch at the usual working positions.
3. Repeat calls from each difficult area during a realistic service setup.
4. If reception is unreliable, contact us with your floor plan to review repeater placement.

Set up and retest

Use the power adapter specified for your repeater. Follow that model's setup instructions; do not substitute an adapter based on another product's ratings. Position it between the weak reception area and the staff area, then test calls again from every affected table.

Ask support before planning multiple repeaters or mounting permanently. Include a repeater only when your selected kit or quote lists one.
